Financial Analyst/Accountant I--seeking stong experience in bank reconciliation Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. has an immediate opening in its Corporate Accounting Department for a Financial Analyst/Accountant I. Job Description: Prepare monthly reconciliations for LSI cash accounts Document, research, analyze and pursue resolution of reconciling items Ensure prompt and consistent follow-up until reconciling items are cleared Provide supporting documents and key various journal entries upon request Confirm and notify management of unusual activity relative to G/L and bank account transactions Promptly respond to management, client groups, auditors and others as required Provide back-up support for recons prepared by others Coordinate receipt of quarterly cash recons and complete other projects as assigned Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business-related field preferred Proficient with Excel spreadsheets & VLook-up Ability to prepare bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items Working knowledge and understanding of bank transactions and G/L cash-related entries Detail-oriented, self-motivated and well-organized Thorough with strong research and analytical skills Assertive and ability to pursue solutions to outstanding issues until resolved Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels of the organization Desired Qualifications: Two plus years of high volume cash reconciliation experience Advanced Excel experience desired JDE &/or Oracle experience, a plus Please formally apply via our website at www.fidelityinfoservices.com, link to careers.
