Building upon a history of success, Countrywide Bank continues nationwide expansion of financial center locations. * Based on current assets and other banking data reported to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) ) 1st quarter, 2007.  Financial Consultant   Primary Responsibilities Include: ·  Working with prospective and existing customers to assess financial needs·  Identifying and selling the appropriate Countrywide Investment Services (CWIS) and Countrywide Insurance Services (CIS) products and services based on those needs·  Performing Business Development, Lead Generation and follow-up·  Completing transactions with customers or referring customers/prospective customers to Affiliates·  Assists customers with opening accounts·  Supporting a positive and responsive climate for problem resolution·  Playing a key role in the stewardship of positive client relationships and customer retention·  Ensuring compliance with Company and regulatory requirements and guidelines·  Conducting a wide range of Business Development and Sales activities—including Community-based Networking, Local-Area Promotional Campaigns, Outbound Telemarketing and Targeted Direct Marketing·  Providing prompt follow-up on Leads generated through Company Marketing and Promotional Programs, Cross-divisional Referrals and all other Lead Sources·  Prospecting, qualifying and profiling new and existing customers to identify financial objectives and promote/sell Countrywide Investment Services Portfolio of Financial Services offerings·  Providing prompt, responsive assistance with customer problems·  Managing and updating the Company's Tracking Systems and Contact-Management Databases to maximize Sales productivity and ensure that Sales and Marketing Programs are effectively executed·  Supporting Countrywide's commitment to compliance by adhering to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations·  Complying with all CWIS policies and procedures and reporting all incidence of non-compliance to immediate Manager   A Successful Candidate Will Have: ·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience·  3-5 years of direct Sales experience—with demonstrated success within a commissioned Retail-Broker/Dealer environment·  NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses·  State-specific Insurance licenses·  Basic, working knowledge of Banking and Banking products·  Excellent Sales skills·  Strong Business-Development skills·  Strong interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written communication skills·  Ability to effectively interact and communicate with a broad range of people·  Basic PC-skills—including proficiency with various PC-, Windows- and Internet-based applications·  Familiarity with Sales-Tracking and/or Customer-Contact software systems and applications·  Experience and proficiency with industry-related technology·  Excellent time-management skills·  Detail-orientation   The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess: ·  Self-motivation·  Ability to individually contribute within a team-oriented environment   Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
