AMG is a quickly-growing company poised to become one of the top ROE banks in the nation.  AMG has some unique opportunities and strategies not widely available to other banks. AMG is seeking established Financial Counselors to join our growing team in Parsippany, NJ. In this position, you will act as the Key Advisor for our high net worth clients in understanding their financial situation.  You will develop, implement, and monitor the investment strategies of assigned clients.  You are expected to be able to handle complex financial situations, and design multi-tiered strategies to meet our clients’ objectives.  Being well versed in traditional investments, non-traditional private equity investments, estate planning, tax, insurance and banking is essential to developing a comprehensive financial plan for our clients. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, tax, law or similar discipline, from an accredited University or College. Strong preference will be given to candidates with accreditations or certifications obtained in the financial industry.  The ideal candidate will also need a minimum of 4 years experience as a relationship manager in a wealth management environment. The ability to communicate ideas and facts effectively, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.  Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a requirement; you should be able to design and utilize complex spreadsheets.  Must be able to adapt quickly to change.   AMG offers a professional work environment.
