Financial Management Representative-Lobby

School Employees Credit Union of Washington seeks a positive and service-oriented individual to join our team of professionals in our Seattle office.  You'll be responsible for providing a wide variety of services to our credit union members.  Your exemplary customer service skills, communication abilities and desire to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success! 

 

You'll be responsible for: 

 

*Processing teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals;cash/checks)

*Taking and processing loan applications (using a credit scoring system to approve new loan applications)

*Opening new accounts (savings, checking and loan products)

*Underwriting products (new savings/checking accounts, new VISA debit/ATM cards, Overdraft Protection line of credit)

*Researching and resolving problems including assisting members with the Online/Telephone banking system

*Cross-selling Credit Union products and services

*Working 8:45am to 5:15pm, Monday through Friday 

 

The successful candidate must work effectively in a team environment, work well under the challenge of heavy workloads and be flexible and respond positively to change.  A strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers is required.  Preference will be given to those candidates with cash handling, consumer lending, and customer service experience.  Strong computer skills and typing (35 WPM) is required. Credit union or banking experience a plus.
