Financial Planning Analyst

AMG is currently seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join our team in our Chicago, IL office.In this position, you will work closely with our high net worth clients to understand their financial situation.  This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing net worth, income tax, estate tax, insurance planning, and planning, monitoring and implementing investment strategies.  To do this, you will gather data from clients, use internal models to prepare and analyze strategies, and review analysis output for accuracy.  You will also prepare materials for financial advisor meetings.The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in Finance/Economics or related degree and four or more years experience in a financial services environment.  Experience with asset allocation, taxes, estate-planning investments, and other key wealth management issues is desired.  Candidate must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.  Candidate must possess excellent communication, superior Excel skills and be comfortable in a detailed-oriented position.  Critical problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines is also a must.AMG offers a professional work environment.  Benefits include multiple Medical plan offerings, Dental coverage, company-paid Short- and Long-Term Disability and Life/AD&D 2x annual salary, Medical Flex and Dependent Care Reimbursement accounts, 401(k) Plan and bank holidays!Resumes should include salary/earnings history and reference job code "CHFPA".Check out our website at www.amgnational.comYou can view all AMG job openings at www.amgnational.com/About_AMG/CareersEOE M/F/D/V
