Financial Reporting Accounting Associate

A Leading Investment Bank located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is searching for a Financial Reporting Accounting Associate with responsibilities as follows:

 

- Report to both internal and external clients at the consolidated firm level

- Report includes informative, accurate, reliable and timely financial information management

- Prepare select notes for inclusion in consolidated quarterly financial statements

- Request, consolidate, analyze, validate and report financial data while adhering to Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and internal control and documentation standards

- Continually enhance controls and efficiency over financial reporting processes which may include transitioning to target data sources and preparing notes to enhance the line of business certification process

- Work closely with all businesses to design and implement accounting and reporting for mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, both internal and external

- Play a key role in the implementation of new accounting standards and new reporting requirements

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Big 4 and a CPA a plus

- 3+ years of related experience

- Excellent communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

- Knowledge of and experience in complying with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley section 404
