FINANACIAL REPORTING ANALYST - FINANCIAL SERVICES

Description

Responsible for participating in the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, analyses, and Head Office submissions, providing responses to Head Office queries, timely completion of the accounting close and parent reporting process, the review of supporting detail records, creation and/or review of original analyses and reconciliations, compilation of footnote disclosures and the preparation and reporting of various periodic financial reporting data to internal and external regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities
Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting processes including review of certain legal entity trial balances and reconciliations.Responsible for certain monthly, quarterly and annual Head Office reporting requirements for certain North America legal and/or reporting entities.Assist in the preparation of certain financial statements and disclosures.Ensure all balances have been accurately reconciled & appropriately classified under US GAAP and/or IAS.Prepare and/or review certain US GAAP and IAS entries relating to certain North America legal and/or reporting entities.Assist in the preparation and submission of various financial reporting data to regulatory bodies.Assist in the intercompany reporting and reconciliation and review process for on and/or off balance sheet items on certain North America legal and/or reporting entities including the research and resolution of breaks with counterparties throughout the organization. Work with associates to ensure organized, timely reporting and analysis of figures and resolution of identified discrepancies.

Qualifications0-3 years work experience.BS/BA in Accounting required.Superior quantitative and analytical skills
