ClearPoint Financial Solutions, Inc, a non-profit agency dedicated to consumer financial education, is recruiting for a qualified Financial Specialist in our Lanham, MD office.  The person chosen for this career opportunity will work with clients analyzing the client’s financial situation; gather budget information; financial obligations and goals.  In addition, the Financial Specialist will counsel clients on specific actions the client may wish to take to reduce and eventually eliminate debt through a Debt Management Program or other services that ClearPoint Financial Solutions offers.  Our Financial Specialists conduct face to face and telephone financial counseling sessions, helping clients analyze their particular financial situation as well as finding solutions to obtain both short term and long term goals.  Additionally, our Financial Specialists are actively involved in the community, particularly in outreach as well as conducting presentations.

 

The candidate chosen for this position will possess:

*Previous experience in the area of  banking; credit; collections; finance company; mortgage banking or other financial services

*Excellent people skills

*Excellent communication skills both oral and written

*Ability to effectively analyze and make recommendations regarding client needs
