Investment Banking Operations

IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimised and that the client experience is a pleasant one.  Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively.  It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

 

Job Description:Responsible for all Fixed Income MIS Reviews. Interfaces and does reporting on all MRSB Reporting. Interfaces with various Fixed Income Traders. Interfaces with Salesman. Interfaces with Compliance. Interfaces with Internal Auditors. Implementation of new system development with programming. Manage Reconciliation of FOBO Breaks. ICI / eSpear interface for ABS. Oversee process via Tasks and Benchmarks for the DBOI. Oversee process via Tasks and Benchmarks Bangalore Team. Instruct payments for Distress Debt transactions. Rectifies all ICI money differences in the Logger System. Interacts with the P&S team for resolution of Breaks. Reviews all systems for Currency and system breaks for Trading. Euro Clear Fail resolution and reporting. Correction Processing. Account Balance Substantiation for FI Firm Accounts. Processes all SOC related reviews. Knowledge of the ICI System. Knowledge of the Gloss System. Knowledge of the Bloomberg Systems Knowledge of Broadridge/ADP systems Knowledge of the DB eSpear systems Knowledge of PIMS Systems. Knowledge of Magellan System.

 

Skills Required:7 years experience in Fixed Income Products / a degree in finance/accounting with relevant internship experience. Financial services background or Finance degree. Good IT skills, such as Windows XP and Microsoft Word and Excel Motivated and Positive Excellent written and oral communication skills Thoroughness and attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment Ability to work in a team environment in order to achieve group targets Taking ownership for tasks and following through to completion Excellent organizational skills Ability to work under tight deadlines Accountability, responsibility, solution and delivery focused Ability to interact successfully and build strong working relationships with various internal and external groups on a daily basis (Middle Office, Legal, Credit)
