Forecast Analyst

Our Client:

Our client is currently looking for a Forecast Analyst to join their growing team.  This permanent, direct-hire opportunity is your chance to work for an industry leader!


Job Duties:

· Develop, validate, and track statistical models used to forecast credit losses for Prime and Sub Prime Mortgage and Home Equity portfolios.

· Prepare reports that illustrate recent loss and delinquency trends, and impact of alternative scenarios on portfolio performance

· Present results to senior management teams to inform loss projections and allowance decisions.

 

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, with 5+ years forecast or credit analysis experience required, advanced degree preferred

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:Understanding of modeling methodologiesConsiderable credit analysis and analytical skillsExtensive knowledge of credit administration, policy and proceduresThorough knowledge of economics, accounting, and finance (Master's degree, or work experience)In-depth knowledge of risk analysis concepts, such as Value-at-RiskStatistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or FOCUS is a strong plus
