Best of all, our culture is open, innovative and responsive to our associates.Job Description Responsibilities: Perform transfer agent accounting functions for a variety of mutual fund and alternative investment clients. The balancer accounts for all shareholder cash and share activity for a mutual fund or alternative investment clients by completing a sharesheet that reports the net cash activity and share balances to the client, money manager(s), investment advisor(s), and fund accountant on a daily basis. 1.Balance shareholder activity and cash transactions, create sharesheets and cash letters 2.Balance dividend/capital gain distribution payments. 3.Create and monitor gain/loss ledgers. 4.Perform scheduled commission balancing and processing. 5.Meet daily fund deadlines. 6.Respond to questions from clients. 7.Provide the Fund Accountant with the daily sharesheet and work with the Fund Accountant to resolve any discrepancies. 8.Prepare outgoing wire registers and input outgoing wires. Requirements: The ability to vary start times between 3:30 AM and 4:30 AM. Work requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical, and problem solving and math skills, required. Must be able to work independently or within a group to meet daily deadlines. Must also possess the ability to work in a windows and a mainframe environment. Familiarity with Microsoft products, file structure, spreadsheets, and the ability to upload and download files is helpful. A bachelor?s degree in Finance or a Business related field is preferred.
