Inputs loan information into funding application and ensures that all validations are met before funding.  Reviews loan information to ensure accuracy.  Determines course of action to correct error. Accurately and completely compiles servicing and collateral packages for delivery to Post Closing department for release of wire.  Ensures that the collateral package is free of deficiencies by carefully reviewing each collateral document.  Reviews files and ensure all appropriate approvals/notarization have been obtained. Reviews mortgage loan file to determine if all conditions that must be cleared prior to funding have been satisfied and to request additional funding conditions as needed.  Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents, such as the deed of trust/mortgage, note, assignment, intervening assignments, etc.  Validate all data against instructions.  Correct errors. Calls settlement agent, title company and other specified individuals to reaffirm funding date, to provide funding figures, and to confirm closing. Answers questions regarding closing requirements.  Researches inquiries and decides appropriate answer to inquiries. Enters numbers used to calculate yield spread premiums/loan discounts, origination fees, closing fees, impounds, projected loan balances, payment amounts, wire amounts, etc. into system. Reviews numbers to ensure accuracy.  Makes appropriate corrections if necessary. Maintain a pipeline of loans on reporting tool by calling, note padding and following up on all loans shown on pipeline report.  Uses various document preparation systems to prepare initial disclosures and closing documents.  Determines appropriate system to use prepare documents. Experience: 3-5 years of prior Funding experience Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Downtown location with Parking Provided Pay Rate: $28/HR Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
