Grant Review Manager

Ride out the storm – join ICF’s team! The Road Home, a housing recovery program for Louisiana residents displaced by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, is seeking a Grant Review Manager to support Road Home Program Managers in implementing the Grant Review program over the next 6 months. In this management role, you will become knowledgeable about Road Home homeowner policies and procedures and support evening and weekend shift work.

As Grant Review Manager, you will utilize your strong quality assurance skills to manage the operation and activities of the Road Home Grant Review Team and its interface with other Road Home activities. You will ensure the transfer of remaining grant review issues; obtain required final documentation; provide regular status updates to applicants; determine and communicate award status; and maintain analytics on resolution issues and reporting. Working with Program Managers and team leads, you will improve program performance and refine systems and procedures for conducting work. As manager, you will ensure that goals are met and barriers to performance are addressed by coaching for improved performance and refining systems and procedures for conducting work. You will work with your team to resolve any remaining post-closing issues and model and ensure customer services best practices.

You must have a working understanding of case management disciplines and demonstrated experience in implementing and ensuring compliance with governmental and state directives and experience establishing project policies, processes, and procedures across diverse service offerings. Position requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years program management experience preferably in title, mortgage, real estate, banking or related field. Two years experience supervising a sizable staff is required, preferably in a rigorous shift, evening and weekend work schedule environment. The successful candidate also must be computer proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet search techniques and have a working knowledge of personnel performance metrics.
