Hazard Insurance Specialist I - Research

The Hazard Outsourcing Insurance Specialist is responsible for researching and resolving exception items that have been initiated via reports, phone calls, faxes, correspondence and tasks.  This family works with more complex and time sensitive issues. The Specialist reviews and researches exception items to obtain critical information. Most of these actions fall outside our standard policies and procedures with senior levels using latitude and judgement in resolving more complex issues.  These positions are non-exempt. Tasks are varied and complex. Researches/resolves exception items received via faxes, reports, tasks and correspondence. Makes appropriate telephone calls to resolve issues. Follows client’s standard policies and procedures as a guide for problem resolution. Generally works in a multi-client/functional environment. Must have the ability to multi-task and think ‘outside the box’.1-2 years of insurance related experience. Knowledgeable & experienced with personal computer. Basic knowledge of company products & services. High School graduate.
