Head Teller/Service Counselor - Boston

Currently, we are searching for an enthusiastic individual to join the Century team.

 

Overview:

 

Provides quality customer service and sales through knowledge of Century products, policies and procedures. Recognizes customer’s banking needs and satisfy those needs through the selling of Century products. Oversees teller training, scheduling and transaction handling to assure that performance is in accordance with bank policies and procedures.


 

Responsibilities:

 Produce sales which will attain or surpass branch goals.
Process new accounts in an efficient and effective manner.
Handle and follow-up of customers’ problems and/or questions.
Maintain inventory and complete reporting on assigned General Ledger Accounts.
Assist in daily branch operations.
Service the ATM machine(s).
Maintain the Safe Deposit area.
Maintain the branch’s professional climate, ensuring teamwork.
Supervise and provide ongoing training to Tellers.
Monitor a new teller’s training and provide measurable goals to continue the training process.
Control work flow to ensure that all work is processed and forwarded on time.
Monitor branch and teller cash levels daily to ensure compliance with established limits.
Approve designated teller work.
Ensure that daily reports, batch summaries, daily settlements and branch recap are completed accurately.
Prepare cash shipments (incoming and outgoing).
Schedule tellers to provide adequate coverage for maximum customer convenience.
Assign duties and special reports to tellers.
Create a professional climate behind the Teller line, ensuring teamwork.
Monitors and/or ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, as well as Bank operation policies and procedures.




Qualifications:

 

Effective communicative skills to handle staff and customer base. Knowledge of office machines, ATM’s, and computers. Good aptitude for figures. Previous Head Teller experience or minimum of one year Teller experience. High School diploma or GED.
