IT Business Analyst

Description: Support and administer the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) system. Work closely with end users, participating in the identification, analysis, and validation of requirements for enhancements to PPM. Participate in the planning, design, testing (to include the development of test cases and scripts) and implementation of PPM application changes and enhancements. Analyze and map processes (current state/future state) with the objective of making improvements to business processes. Provide end-user support. Conduct new user training. Generate reporting used for project prioritization and conduct the related meetings.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related area . Two to five years of technical experience and/or Business Analyst Experience. Microsoft Office Professional Suite skills required including advanced use of Excel including (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) and a working knowledge of Access. Experience with SQL (e.g. PLSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL), including writing and reading SQL statements. Experience and comfort working in database environments (Oracle); necessary for problem resolution and reporting. Proficient in Crystal Reports. Ability to create and execute test scenarios for detecting data flow abnormalities. Knowledge of banking operations and technology desirable. Possess strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. Knowledge of basic Unix commands. Familiarity with Java. Project portfolio management experience is a plus.
