Information Security Engineer

The Information Security Engineer will have responsibility for development, oversight, and day to day administration of the company’s information security program.  This includes establishing information security policies, standards, coordination with application, systems and network personnel to ensure physical, network and application security. Responsibilities
* Obtain input from business, compliance and other groups to design and develop the strategic direction for the Information Protection Program
* Establish and maintain the enterprise information security strategy
* Provides subject matter expertise in working with the other IT personnel on application security, vulnerability management, access and identity management,  incident management and forensics
* Participate in strategic planning, tactical operation planning, and the development of contingency operation plans
* Participate in information security architecture, information security planning and information security programs
* Establishes key information security reporting metrics

Knowledge and Skills
* Significant experience and knowledge in complex IT system design, implementation and support.
* Applied knowledge of complex IT solutions to include applications, middleware, and all infrastructure components (servers, storage, network, database)
* Knowledge and experience in forensic testing
* Strong experience with Microsoft and Unix/Linux operating systems, Cisco, high volume systems

Education/Experience
* BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
*  7+ years of experience in IT/Corporate Security/Information Security management, Network Administration, Network Engineering, Cisco Equipment
*  Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CCNA, CCIE or any combo of advanced certifications a plus
* Knowledge and experience working in Banking or Trading sector required
