Information Systems Manager

Pinnacle Federal Credit Union, a $170M non-profit Financial institution is seeking a candidate to Manage its Information Systems department. 

Purpose:
Accomplishes information systems objectives by installing computer Systems, ensuring back-up systems operate effectively, purchasing hardware and software, providing technology infrastructures for Credit Union organization and contributing to organizational policy as it relates to quality standards and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
-Evaluate user needs and system functionality;
-Plan, develop and implement the Information Systems department budget by obtaining competitive prices from vendors to ensure cost effectiveness;
-Schedule appropriate upgrades and security back-ups for hardware and software systems;
-Research and install new systems;
-Maintain all hardware and software systems, including Anti-Virus software, and print and email services;
-Comply with software licensing requirements;
-Provide secure access to the Network for remote users;
-Safeguard Credit Union data from internal or external corruption;
-Manage crises, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems;
-Mentor, train and develop personal growth opportunities for Information Systems staff;
-Maintain professional and technical knowledge;
-Provide internal systems users with guidance and support;
-Analyze and meet needs of users/department.

Requirements:
-Associate degree in related field; Bachelor degree preferred
-Minimum (5) years Information Systems experience with (3) of those years managing employees
-(3) years experience in a Financial institution
-Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of technology operations including network security, telecommunications and web applications
-LAN, WAN & SQL Based Relational Database Experience
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Good problem solving and judgement
-Excellent organization skills
