Internal Wholesaler

Cohen & Steers Capital Management, the world’s largest and most innovative manager of real estate securities with over $28.6 billion under management is seeking an Internal Wholesaler in its New York headquarters. With offices in New York City, London, Hong Kong, Brussels, and Seattle, the firm manages 22 mutual funds as well as separate accounts for a roster of blue chip institutions, pension funds, and endowments. The company has consistently achieved industry leading performance and rapid asset growth within its dynamic mix of investment strategies.

 

The candidate will work closely with their regional external wholesaler to increase sales of open-end and closed-end mutual funds and separately managed accounts. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in sales and effectiveness working as a member of a team. Other Responsibilities will include: 
* Set up sales meetings and provide support and follow-up for the external wholesaler.
* Initiate out-bound phone calls, email and mailings to financial advisors to increase sales.
* Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors and update database.
* Answer in-bound calls about our full range of products.
* Attend industry conferences representing Cohen & Steers.
* Travel and present to Broker/Dealer offices when appropriate.

Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree
* Current Series 7 and 63 securities registration.
* Minimum two years full-time employment with a financial services company specializing in mutual funds.
* Proven selling and relationship building skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft office.
