Performs daily operations for trade banking and FX products, including: Import and export letters of credit--reviewing applications, creating Standby Letters of Credit, arranging for credit approvals, tracking activity, posting customer and GL entries for fees, drawings, or other charges Documentary Collections--tracking activity, posting customer and GL entries for fees, payments, or other charges Arranging daily funding for vendor bank. Foreign Exchange activity and settlement: Settling trades booked by front office, providing confirmation to clients, managing day-to-day operation of vendor portal, posting and reconciliation of Multi-currency account ledgers. Arranging daily funding for vendor bank. Performs setup of new, and maintenance of existing, Account Analysis relationships/accounts, deletes of relationships/accounts, changes of name/address Proactively identifies and establishes appropriate Maintenance Plans, Services Codes, and Service Fee Override codes required for further assignment to specific accounts for proper service charging Performs maintenance of external item counts to specific accounts for proper service charging Designs and executes periodic audits of the Account Analysis system to determine overall accuracy and efficiency of service charging For Trade Banking, Foreign Exchange and Account Analysis: Resolves exceptions reported, creating and distributing communication with relationship managers for account decisions, follow-up for completion, employ default processes for non-response. Handle customers servicing issues for both internal and external customersRequired SkillsAbility to work independently. Independent decision making for minor or mid-level issues, ability to identify potential solutions for more complex or uncommon issues for recommendation of approval. Proactively involve resources from other departments to solve any potential Analysis related issues. High verbal skills, both written and spoken. Required ExperienceDemonstrated experience with commercial clients, preferably greater than 2 years. Experience with business cycle, as well as macro-economic influences on business cycle. MS Office and other PC-based platforms.
