The Mutual Fund Store isa fee-based investment advisory firm headquartered in Kansas City with more than $3.5 billion in assets under management through 68 locations across the United States. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking to add a qualified and experienced Investment Advisor at our Portland, Oregon office.

The Mutual Fund Store was founded on two very important beliefs:  A fee-based relationship based on assets under management is the fairest relationship between advisor and client; and If you are going to take the risk of the market, you owe it to yourself to be in the best funds.

Today, most advisors have their hands full just relating to the numerous challenges they face, and have little time to focus on raising and retaining assets and building client relationships.  We offer all of our advisors proprietary sales and investment methodology, significant back office support and a unique marketing strategy.

Our competitive advantage is our national weekly radio program, The Mutual Fund Show, and is a critical component to our success. Hosted each Saturday morning by Adam Bold, our Founder and CIO, the show delivers a consistent stream of new prospects to each location. This weekly program and radio advertising generates all of our new client appointments. Archived shows can be heard via the internet by visiting www.mutualfundshow.com.The Mutual Fund Show airs everySaturdaymorning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 on KEX - 11900 AM in Portland, and on other top AM talk radio stations across the country. 



Qualified candidates will have the following: A deep understanding of the financial market and a passion to work in the field Financial services background, especially in mutual funds Series 65 licensing Clean U-4 Excellent closing skills Experience in relationship building and retention of clients A business background, with management skills and experience with staff An entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for investments and a desire to serve the client.

The position includes a base salary, a lucrative bonus structure based on assets under management, medical and dental benefits, 401(k) plan and paid vacation.This is an employment position; we are not requesting capital investment or a book of business.
