Investment Banker, Senior Level

Job Purpose:

Generates revenues by obtaining new clients; analyzing and implementing investment opportunities and programs; advising clients; preparing financial reports and analyses.  Secures new investors for Joint Venture, raises capital, negotiates contracts and is measured by successful new business ventures.

Duties:

* Generates new business by contacting all the Wall Street Invesment Houses, tracks business venture opportunities, identifys and calls-on potential clients; explaining services and benefits; evaluating potential business.

* Analyzes client financial situation by identifying financial objectives; examining financial structure; identifying and evaluating risks; preparing analyses and summaries.  Explains joint venture opportunities and the risk and reward proforma and secures new business.

* Assesses fund raising opportunities by contacting and evaluating funds sources; identifying and analyzing fund raising options, including underwriting, private placements, bond issuance; estimating success probabilities; identifying and analyzing legal requirements.

* Recommends fund raising methods by preparing fund raising plan; explaining requirements and approaches to client.

* Implements fund raising methods by preparing and completing documents; overseeing fund raising plan implementation.

* Advises clients by analyzing advisability or avoidance of mergers and acquisitions; evaluating lease or buy options; evaluating financial structures, including long-term financial planning, stock re-purchases, dividend policies, working capital management, and valuation of business.

* Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

* Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills/Qualifications:

Masters level education with 5-7 + years experience with with the large brokerage/banking firms on Wall Street.  Experienced in Corporate Finance, Financial Diagnosis, Financial Skills, Forecasting, Decision Making, General Math Skills, Building Relationships, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, Dependability, Financial Planning and Strategy
