About the Opportunity

FMI’s Investment Banking practice is looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in being exposed to the transaction business. 

 

Responsibilities include:

· Extensive financial analysis, public comparables and pro forma financial modeling

· Conduct industry, market and company-specific research

· Preparation of compelling presentations and offering/descriptive memorandums

· Preliminary valuation work

· Participation in high-level client meetings

· Writing articles for publication in industry-related publications

 

Successful candidates must possess the following qualifications:

· Experience in any of the following areas:

Investment banking, Strategic planning, Private equity, M&A, Acquisitions, Due diligence, Debt underwriting/commercial loans (mortgages not included) and/or

Private wealth management

· Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products

· Strong analytical skills, including the ability to exercise sound independent judgment

· Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

· Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment as a team player and individually

· Willingness to travel as necessary

 

Education/Experience Required:

· MBA from a leading college in accounting, finance and/or related field

· CFA a plus

· CPA a plus
