Investment Representative
Mission Federal Credit Union seeks an outstanding individual to provide professional advisory services to MFCU credit union members and employees. Top candidates will be able to: prepare and deliver comprehensive financial advice that may include portfolio reviews, asset accumulation strategies, analysis and assessments, pre/post-retirement planning, and asset allocation strategies. Enhance and expand the overall penetration and participation levels of the current investment services program and ensure on-going quality service to existing members/clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist credit union members and employees with the purchase of financial products and services at assigned branch locations of one or more of MFCU’s branches. Responsible for scheduling appointments and conducting outbound calling from referrals provided reports and existing book of business.
2. Interface with mutual fund companies, insurance companies, clearinghouse, broker/dealer and Mission Investment back-office for any member/client needs or services.
3. Coordinate and conduct approved promotional campaigns specific to the unique needs of the Investments Representative’s assigned branches. Work with branch staff to train and coach to help each branch make their Investment related goals.
4. Keep informed of current investment products offered and of new products being made available through our broker dealer.
5. Prepare all new business for submission to Mission Investments for processing using standard OSJ procedure. Actively work back-to-Rep report.
6. Maintain all member/client files and records to comply with the requirements of all FINRA, Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) and Insurance Agency (Agency) regulators.
7. Assist in other duties and responsibilities as determined by CUSO management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required. Under Graduate degree (BS/BA) is desired. 2 years of equivalent experience can substitute for every one-year of education.
Experience: Five or more years of experience in the delivery of personal investment products and services, with at least one year of experience in a financial institution. Strong organizational, member relations, oral and written communication skills are required. Must also demonstrate sound business judgment.
Licensing: Current Series 7 NASD and Series 66 (or 63 &65) licenses required. Life and Disability Insurance license required. Must have valid Drivers License.
