J2EE Trading Systems Developer

Our client, a global investment bank, is looking for a J2EE Developer for their Chicago office.  The primary responsibilities for this position includes the design, development and implementation of complex applications.  The position may require the J2EE Trading Systems Developer to provide technical direction and systems architecture for individual initiatives.  This requires not only strong application development skills, but also knowledge of full systems development life-cycle methodologies including requirements analysis and deployment methodologies.  This position encompasses a wide range of tasks including working with Front, Middle, and Back-Office in order to design, develop, and test highly scalable J2EE applications. 
 
Requirements:

*  Minimum of 5 years of Java J2EE development experience with in-depth knowledge of frameworks such as Struts 2 and Spring, and an in-depth knowledge of Hibernate is a Must..
*  Experience working with web presentation technologies (CSS, Freemaker, HTML etc.)
*  Comfortable with Unix and Unix Shell scripting.
*  Knowledge of JMS, EJB, JSP, XML, DHTML, Struts, and Swing.
*  Working knowledge of Sybase and strong SQL skills
*  Experience working with trading systems in a Capital Markets environment with experience working with Bloomberg and a strong math aptitude is a PLUS.
*  Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
