Jr. Project Manager Job Description: This position supports the Mortgage Product Development Project Support Office. The PSO supports a project management tool suite including project Server 2003, SharePoint 2.0, PlanView, and various custom developed reporting applications. Candidate would be responsible for the following: Support the project management toolset to include Project Server 2003, SharePoint 2.0, PlanView, and OLAP Cube Processing. Mentors project owners and end users on PMBOC best practices and divisional project management policies and procedures. Supports plan and project portfolio level reporting to plan owners and management. Researches and recommends solutions to issues surrounding the EPM client/server environment; performs other duties as assigned. Activities include researching problems or issues, proposing ideas or solutions, and assisting in the implementation of solutions. Important considerations include understanding the objectives and concerns of the user base and management, having subject matter expertise and knowledge or knowing how to research it, understanding the effects of the proposed solutions on the technical tools environment as a whole, and communicating in a manner that is clear, effective and concise. Analyst should be proficient in administering and supporting the EPM server hardware and applications hosted on them. Writing SQL queries to access data in multiple SQL databases to produce management, user, and audit reports. Assisting Project Managers and end users to troubleshoot project plan problems, SharePoint site and PlanView issues, and other technical issues. The analyst should have expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite 2003 to include Word, Excel, FrontPage, and shared Office files and web components. Candidate must be located in JAX. EEO/AA
