Legal Collections Manager

Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per week: 40 Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m to 4:45 p.m Qualifications 5 years of prior supervisory experience managing a minimum of 6 - 10 staff in collections Experience with contract writing, negotiating and vendor management A Strong understanding and job related experience in Fair Debt collection practices are required Prior legal experience in arbitration and settlements is required Outstanding organizational skills, project management and proposal writing skills are preferred as is public speaking and the ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines and multi tasking. Computer Skills in Ms Word, Excel, MS Visio, Powerpoint and Internet . Responsibilities You will manage a team of 6-10 employees in Collections and Asset recovery. Will manage projects from inception to completion preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports as required. Responsibilities include writing, negotiating and managing contracts with vendors ensuring that vendors meet all service level agreements. Correspond with attorneys and manage accounts through the legal process, Maintain high standard of quality assurance as well as compliance with bank and federal regulations. Will be expected to write business proposals for new projects presenting to management team for approval. Occasional travel to appear in court testifying on hehalf of the bank at settlement or arbitration hearings.
