Loan Representative Monitors and maintains government-assisted loan portfolios. Assesses the credit quality of applicants requesting modifications to existing loans. Contacts customers to collect delinquent payments, and assess the viability of payment deferments and loan restructures. Assists with review of new complex loan documentation and credit presentations. Oversees the progression of approved modifications, deferments, and restructures through closure by interacting with customers, third parties, other staff and management as required. Monitors and analyzes required financial information. Recommends risk rating adjustments and refers loans to special assets department as appropriate. Interfaces with Special Assets staff to complete SBA liquidation plans. Researches and resolves complex operations issues for assigned department. May Provide work direction and technical guidance to lower level staff. Other duties as assigned.Loan Representative I, N17 - Typically requires an Associate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting and 2+ years of small business lending, documentation or underwriting experience. Basic knowledge of small business lending principles and procedures. Proficient knowledge of financial statement spreading and analysis for basic small business loans. Proficient with Microsoft Office application software. Strong customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills.Loan Representative II, N19 - Typically requires an Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Accounting and 3 years of small business lending, documentation and underwriting experience. Full use and application of small business lending principles and procedures for moderately complex loans. Strong knowledge of financial statement spreading and analysis for complex small business loans. Proficient with Microsoft Office application software. Strong customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills.Experience in SBA lending programs.
