Loan Transfer Specialist

SUMMARY:

This position requires knowledge of the loan acquisition process and transfering of loans from other servicers.  This position also requires someone who is very detail oriented, organized, self motivated and an individual who possesses a built-in sense of urgency. Experience with OSI helpful.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Communicate with other servicers to coordinate transferring of loans.  Monitor to ensure all steps have been completed timely and RESPA requirements are met.  Obtaining and auditing of commercial and residential loan information for the booking of loans, data entry, file maintenance, and taxes and insurance trailers. Research and resolve issues and discrepancies and respond to a variety of inquiries or problems with customers in a professional manner. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Excellent written and verbal language skills; strong knowledge/understanding of commercial and single family loan servicing, and strong organizational skills; Technical knowledge: general business machines, such as computer, fax machine and copier. 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 1 - 2 years experience with transferring of loans and knowledge of RESPA required.  Knowledge of OSI helpful.
