Lube & Oil Technician

Loomis is seeking a qualified individual to join our team and assist the Mechanics maintain  our fleet of International 4700 Series Armored Trucks and vans.


Lube & Oil Technicians service  all fleet vehicles. You will be responsible for the scheduling and performance of preventative maintenance on our  fleet of  vehicles following company standards. You will  change oil, lube, replace side mirrors, minor parts, headlights, repack bearings, check tire air pressure, replace electrical door switches. You will also drive the trucks for testing and pick up and deliver parts locally.

If you enjoy  helping journeyman mechanics work  on a large fleet of  desiel trucks dedicated to keeping their teammates safe on the road this may be the opportunity for you.

The requirements of the Lube & Oil Technician position include the following:

·  Must be able to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles

·  Ability to write work and purchase orders

·  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull climb and lie on back in horizontal position for prolonged periods

·  Ability to hoist any size vehicle with a lift device using foot or arm pumping motion

· Possess a valid Washington Drivers License

·  Ability to communicate verbally over the telephone in English

We are looking for applicants who are at least  18 years of age, have a current driver’s license and a good driving record, show steady employment history and can pass a comprehensive background check that includes criminal history check, credit check, drug screen and, physical.  

This position requires that you pass a Department of Transportation screening and be issued a DOT Medical Certification.

Requirements
We have openings for applicants for the following work schedules:

·  Monday thru Friday

40 hours per week  5am to 2:30pm
