Manager Analytics

Summary: Responsible for managing the development and delivery of reports and analysis that drive information based decision making across various business units.  Leverage programming and project management skills to deliver quality results while meeting tight timelines and managing several projects at once.

 

Duties:

1. Manage monthly and ad-hoc report development and delivery to requesting business unit.

2. Collect and document reporting requirements and negotiate and manage project timelines

3. Lead programmer(s) in the Analytics team by setting deliverables and managing those deliverables to the project timeline.

4. Interact with leaders from various business units to insure the Analytics and reporting team is meeting and exceeding expectations with respect to timelines and quality of product.

 

Specs:

1. Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, MIS or related field (advanced degree preferred).

2.  3 – 5 years experience managing MIS projects with direct accountability.

3. 7+ years experience in programming, data management, or other MIS positions.

 

Skills:

1.  Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interact across organizations and drive results.

2.  Strong technical programming skills including SQL, Database management, SAS (or similar statistical programming package).

3.  Knowledge of software development lifecycle.

4.  Knowledge of the mortgage industry a plus.

5.  Experience in working with executive management.
