Summary:
To manage the cost effective and customer responsive delivery of IT managed, client computing services and technology in support of the Leaf Financial business To lead the collaboration of external and internal service suppliers, in a way that creates a comprehensive and integrated client computing environment for Leaf Financial IT users. To work with other Resource America and Leaf Financial IT personnel in the design, engineering and implementation of new and/or changed client computing technologies. To at all times, be the Leaf Financial client technology champion and actively promote their perspectives and needs in all IT supplied or managed client computing services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the cost effectiveness and customer satisfactory delivery of all IT managed client computing services within Leaf Financial
· Co-ordination and direction of client computing service external and internal supplier activities
· Design and continuous improvement of the client computing service delivery life cycle processes, including service request handling, IT team workflow management and customer satisfaction tracking
· Responsible for managing the delivery of a complete client computing service life cycle:
v User requirements/needs analysis
v Implementation/installation scheduling
v Design of equipment operating and management processes
v Technology repair/correction management
v Device movement, migration, re-locations
v Equipment retirement and disposition
· Joint development with other IT technical staff and suppliers of client computing technology specifications
· Management and review of external suppliers/vendors for contribution effectiveness and cost competitiveness
· Plan and development of a multi-year client computing service and support strategy for all Leaf Financial locations
· Responsibility for keeping an accurate inventory of installed client computing technology components (hardware and software)
· Manage client computing software license compliance within Leaf Financial that maximizes license utilization, while concurrently keeping Leaf within legal and copyright compliance
· Development and implementation of a comprehensive client computing service level measurement and tracking processKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
· Intel based micro computers, workstations and peripherals
· Knowledgeable about Microsoft family of desktop office automation products, including Windows XP, Windows Vista, MS Office
· Local area and wide area network client interface technology implementation options and strategies
· Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony device (e.g. telephone) installation, configuration and integration in a desktop work environment
· Audio video device installation, configuration and integration
· Microsoft server/host based network operations
· Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
· Project management, including task identification, management and follow-up
· Service level process design, implementation and management
· Customer satisfaction survey instrument design and program execution
· Written and oral communication skillsEducation Required:
College degree required. Computer Science and/or Business Administration bachelor degree.
Specific I/T training per skills requiredPrevious Experience Required:
· Delivery and implementation of information technology client computing end user services, including personal computer hardware and software installation and repair
· Working in concurrent a technical hands-on and team manager role
· Coordination of the delivery of services from external service providers
· Management of service delivery processes for a geographically dispersed business operation
· Ability to lead and motivate internal service suppliers in providing consistent, quality deliverables and in achieving continuous deliverable improvements
· Implementing and managing customer service level agreements
· Working in a integrated voice, data and image technology environment
