Manager, Due & Payable

Financial Freedom Senior Funding Corporation, a subsidiary of IndyMac Bank, F.S.B. is one of America's largest reverse mortgage lenders. The company has rapidly expanded its national network and offers reverse mortgages in all 50 states. We are currently looking for someone to join our team as Manager, Due and Payable.Interviews, hires, trains and cross-trains Maturities/Payoff Processing and Claims & Assignments teams. Holds team meetings and individual meetings with staff as needed. Performs staff evaluations as required. Maintains compliance with all applicable servicing agreements, internal policies and procedures, and banking regulations. Minimize loss exposure for Financial Freedom Senior Funding while meeting internal and external policies and procedures.Maturities/Payoff Processing? Responsible for processing and monitoring all Reverse Mortgage maturities, bankruptcies, and filing/scanning activity.? Monitors daily, weekly and monthly reports to insure that all HUD, Fannie Mae, and private investor requirements and time lines are being met. Produces investor and management reports as needed. ? Responsible for determining the viability of a payoff on the matured loans within a one year period. Claims & Assignments? Manages Claims & Assignments process and reviews reports to ensure that HECM Reverse Mortgage Loans approaching 98% LTV (of maximum claim amount) are prepared for Assignment and assigned to HUD on a timely basis.? Manages legal invoice processing and ensures each item on the invoice is allocated to the appropriate number on the 571(Fannie Mae reimbursement) form.Requirements: ? Bachelor?s degree (B.A./B.S.), 8-10 years relevant experience plus 5+ years supervisor/management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.? Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs? Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
