For more information, visit State Street's web site at www.statestreet.com Manager, Fund Administration Job Responsibilities:Proficiently and consistently perform a comprehensive and accurate financial statement review in adherence with standard review procedures (including GAAP and S-X requirements) and production schedule deadlines. Review the word documents prepared by the staff prior to typesetting. Tie all numbers back to support documents from audit package. Review all subsequent drafts and page proofs until fund has been released. Complete a thorough and analytical review of the NSARs for all assigned funds. Effectively manage workload to ensure that information is complete and accurate while meeting deadlines for self and staff. Coordinate with auditors to resolve open audit items on assigned funds timely and demonstrate ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during an audit. Ensure client and auditors are satisfied with resolutions. Exhibit accountability and ownership of all assigned work.Employee Specifications:B.S. degree in Accounting, or Business, related field or equivalent work experience required. Five+ years of industry experience with at least three years in fund administration. Current knowledge of key mutual fund treasury and administrative functions, including understanding of securities processing, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and general ledger accounting for mutual funds, as well as SEC and IRS compliance requirements. Also, candidate must be self-motivated, have the ability to motivate others, able to multi-task, aware of department procedures and committed to following them, have good interpersonal skills, is attentive to detail, organized and have a working knowledge of various software applications.Click here to apply
