Manager - Internal Audit

Responsibilities include: Executing audit steps and/or completing special projects as requested by audit management. Audit fieldwork includes completing the audit program and managing the audit within the given timeframes. Planning the audits. Planning includes meeting with auditee management, documenting the control environment, preparing the planning memorandum and the audit program. Performing final review of audits and special projects for your functional area, conducting exit meetings, and drafting and/or reviewing the audit report. Training and developing Internal Audit personnel. Performing periodic performance appraisals. Interacting with external auditors, audit committees, and/or regulators. Providing consulting services to Company management. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Auditing and/or accounting course work preferred. At least five years auditing experience with a minimum of three years in a senior/supervisory position. Experience in the asset management and banking industries preferred. Knowledge of regulations affecting the asset management and banking industries preferred. Required to hold a professional accounting or auditing designation (CPA, CA, CIA, CFIRS/CTA, CISA) Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to interact with senior management on a regular basis. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercises independent judgment consistent with department guidelines. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
