JOB DESCRIPTION

 

TheCommunity Bank Market President will assume personal responsibility for meetingand exceeding all performance objectives related to sales, referrals,profitability, and expense management for the Fort Walton, FL market.

 

Aggressively market financial solutions with a goal of winning new clients andexpanding existing relationships.

 

Conduct relationship reviews with businessand affluent customers and prospects, and identify, sell or refer appropriatefinancial solutions including credit products, deposit products, private clientproducts and services, investment products, insurance services, and financialplanning.

 

Develop prospects by making consultative sales calls, qualifyingprospects, and converting prospects to clients.

 

Develop and maintain effectivereferral sources.

 

Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of allrelevant Bank products and services.

 

Coordinate with Loan AdministrationPortfolio Management to support the quality, profitability, and managed riskexposure of the loan portfolio.

 

Aid in strategically assessing the risk profileof relationships and help define risk management guidelines and relationshipplans accordingly.

 

Participate in community development activities thatmaterially contribute to business development efforts.

 

Partner with otherBank employees within the market to ensure a uniform, consistent andeffective approach to community involvement.

 

Partner with regional leadershipand corporate contributions to maximize the effectiveness of corporate givingwithin the community.

 

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Community Bankerswithin the market, as well as motivate the entire local employee base.

 

Setstrategies and deploy tactics that will ensure team performance, targets andgoals are met.

 

The market's complete general ledger performance will be theresponsibility of the Community Market president.

 Minimum Qualifications:

 Must have undergraduatedegree or equivalent banking leadership experience. Minimum of eight yearsbanking industry experience.

 Business, commercial or corporate lendingexperience, specifically focusing on partner products and processes, retailbank, investments, commercial, corporate, private client.

Demonstrated solutionbased sales experience in the financial services industry.

 

PreferredQualifications:

Currently lives in, has lived in, or has ties to the FortWalton market.

Attended graduate or undergraduate school in the area.

Experience in commercial banking, retail banking and/or private banking highlydesired.
