Marketing Assistant

Principal Objective

 

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for the Marketing Department.  In addition, this position will assist in the execution of bank marketing plans.  This position provides an excellent opportunity for an entry-level marketing professional to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful contribution in a growing, dynamic company.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

1. Provides administrative support to the Marketing Department, including scheduling, budget tracking, and collateral inventory. In addition, maintains marketing calendar and catalogue of all Bank marketing promotions and materials

2. Supports the execution of marketing and sales plans and timetables

3. Edits interactive PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences

4. Coordinates with agencies and freelancers to deliver ads, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, invitations, etc.

Coordinates in-branch merchandising distribution and information program to ensure that all locations are displaying appropriate marketing materials

Job Specifications  (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required)

 

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

·  Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

·  Ability to thrive in a fluid, demanding, fast-growth culture

·  Excellent organization skills

·Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Bank marketing experience a plus
