Marketing Communications Manager - Vice President

 

Boston Private Bank and Trust Company provides banking and investment services to individuals, their families and their business. It has an investment management emphasis on mid to large cap equity and actively managed fixed income portfolios. Boston Private Bank and Trust Company also offers a First Time Homebuyer Program and "soft second" mortgage financing. Overview of Position

Implement and manage marketing communications and branding programs that advance Boston Private Bank’s business goals and objectives. This highly visible position requires the ability to remain flexible and diplomatic in a fast-paced environment. This position is well-suited for a self-starter who enjoys working on a wide range of marketing projects.

 

Responsibilities

1.      Collaborate with Director of Marketing, Marketing Communications Specialist, CEO, business area leaders, and CRA officer to develop various public relations, advertising, website, client event, and internal/external communications strategies.

2.      Implement and manage internal and external communications strategies designed to protect and enhance the Bank’s corporate reputation and advance the company’s business objectives.

3.      Ensure that all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and are an effective expenditure of resources.

4.      Identify opportunities to support organizational initiatives and develop communications materials and programs to promote and publicize these activities.

5.      Manage the annual marketing communications plan and budget.

6.      Manage vendor relationships.

7.      Assist in the preparation of press releases, presentations, web content, and other internal/external communications.

8.      Other projects as required by Director of Marketing.

 

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing or similar field preferred.

·        5+ years experience implementing and managing marketing communications programs, ideally in a local financial services firm.

·        Knowledge of the high-net-worth market.

·        Excellent individual performer and team player.

·        Proven written communications, grammar, and proofreading skills.
