Marketing Coordinator

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist the Marketing Associates with the development and execution of marketing initiatives.
Develop and manage production timelines with internal and external contacts.
Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies, print vendors and external partners to execute programs.
Develop content for marketing collateral, brochures, newsletters, website promotions (banners, pop-up windows), product promotions, etc…
Participate in the coordination of in-branch promotions, tables, seminars and special events.
Utilize desktop publishing software to develop creative for smaller initiatives including statement inserts, postcards, flyers, etc.
Utilize the MCIF and various other systems to analyze campaign results, perform Quality Assurance on targeted lists and produce lists of targeted segments within our membership for direct mail campaigns and other marketing initiatives.
Manage the development of the end of month statement messages, inserts as well as the VRU messages.
Manage smaller, less complex marketing projects as required.
Provide support to the CRM and Research Manager in the overall coordination of the Promotional team campaigns and initiatives.
Provide information and support to Member Service Representatives when launching campaigns to assure the optimal efficiency of each promotion.
Maintain knowledge of UNFCU products, services, policies and procedures.
Develop a good working relationship with all Marketing team members.
Perform other functions as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must be detail oriented, possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills. He/She must be highly organized with strong time management skills, proficient with copy writing/editing and software applications, professional appearance and willingness to work flexible hours. The individual should have an excellent ability to manage relationships internally and externally. Essential to this position is a basic understanding of general marketing principles, in particular direct marketing and marketing communications, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines. A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position is to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in communications/marketing or a related field.
