Merced Assistant Branch Manger

 

Educational Employees Credit Union has an opening for an Assistant Branch Manger in the Merced branch. 

The Assistant Branch Manager is jointly responsible, with the Branch Manager, for the operation of the branch and for achieving sales and membership goals.

 

Duties:

Supervises and directs specific operational and member service activities including direct supervision of the branch staff.  Assumes full responsibility for the operations of the branch during the absence of the Branch Manager.  Creates a motivating environment that promotes superior service and increased cross-sales of Credit Union products/services.Additionally, this position requires attendance at community related events and establishing relationships (i.e. meet with school officials) that will facilitate membership growth.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, preferably with a credit union or other financial institution.  Will possess a basic understanding of all regulations and have an in depth knowledge of branch operations. Completion of leadership training/courses preferred.  Consumer and Real Estate loan experience and a proven sales record is desired.  Must be able to effectively communicate with staff and members.

 

Education/Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school; plus at least three years related experience and/or training at a supervisory level in a financial institution (i.e., Loan Manager, or Member Services Manager); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
