Merchant Services Senior Sales Job Description: Responsible for acquiring new accounts and for the ongoing maintenance of current accounts. Identifies potential customers, makes contacts, and develops strategy for selling merchant service products. Negotiates pricing with customers within established authority. May cross-sell other bank products depending upon customer needs and profile. Maintains reports and contact log for purposes of tracking sales and trends. Specific Job Description: To acquire new merchant services relationships from the following sources: Internally from Consumer Banking Centers and other partners from within Bank of America. External generation of business from cold calling, associations and vendor relationships. Position requires building a strong internal partner relations through education efforts as well as creative marketing efforts. Prospecting efforts completed via in person sales presentations, phone sales and email communications. Required Skills: Proven strong sales results and skills. Presentation and relationship building skills. Negotiation skills. Independent / self motivated. Ability to work within a fast paced environment. Must have strong verbal and writing skills.
