Modeling Director ( 3021707 CK)

Position Summary:
Position involves building new models, tracking program performance, validating and optimizing model performance and managing implementation.  Core responsibilities will relate to business card application.

Essential Functions:
" Develop and validate statistical models to predict program and potential customer behavior
" Aide in integrating statistical models into P&L process and optimizing use of models.
" Utilize data processing skills in analyzing large quantities of data.
" Maintain documentation of development methods and validation, as well as subsequent performance monitoring and alignment.
" Effectively communicate scoring related activities to management and segment teams.
" Monitor and report on key performance metrics for all models in use.
" Monitor and manage the banks use of all scores to prevent misapplication.
" Provide support for model implementation and audit to ensure proper installation on vendor platforms

Other Responsibilities: 
" Perform other work related duties as assigned.
" Assist in determining optimal mail strategies


Education, Experience, And Skills Required:

" Minimum of 3-5 years experience developing statistical models
" Strong communication skills
" Experience in credit cards required; business card experience preferred
" Knowledge of SAS required; SQL a plus
" Bachelors degree in an analytical / statistical discipline required (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc.) Masters degree preferred.
