Mortgage Administrative Assistant

POSITION REPORTS TO: Mortgage Sales Manager

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES – Assist with the day to day real estate loan process by performing a wide variety of support duties related to the lending function.

 Taking applications in person and from phone with ability to close the sale. Assist with marketing promotions and presentations. Working with sales reps in setting appointments at all 3 locations. Pulling leads and information from the Haines Directory in assistance of sales reps and marketing Scrub leads from Haines Directory in order to comply with the MO and IL Do Not Call lists. Create financing option flyers for sales reps at the request of agents to display at listed properties. Maintenance of Mortgagebot, our on-line application system. Includes updating daily rates, pulling applications, as well as other system configurations and change requests. Mail out daily Welcome packets to new applicants.  Updating data base and coordinating updates with marketing department. Notify mortgage team of upcoming training regarding compliance, MAMB and Mortgagebot. Cross sell other 1st Financial products. Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred or equivalent experience (must be 18 years of age or older)

 

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:Working knowledge of all aspects of mortgage lending. Previous experience in mortgage retail environment. Detail oriented and computer literate in word processing and spreadsheets. Able to work independently as well as with others as a team.



OTHER REQUIREMENTS:



Job Hours: Position will require a 36-hour workweek with rotating Saturdays. (Discuss hours with the hiring manager.)
