Mortgage Loan Processor

Basic Function:Set up, process and prepare mortgage loans for underwriting and closing.  Provide support for Mortgage Loan Officer in all phases of mortgage lending.

 

Primary Duties:

 

Data entry of mortgage loan applications.

 

Responsible for meeting RESPA and Reg. Z. requirements, TIL’s.

 

Order and review verifications, credit reports, and appraisals as required.

 

Prepare loans for loan committee approval and compose commitment letters.

 

Schedule weekly review of loans in process.

 

Finalize files and prepare them for underwriting.

 

Serve as resource contact for customers and real estate agents/contractors when Loan Officer is unavailable.

 

Prepare loan information status sheets for closing department.

 

Continuously review loan files for completeness of forms and necessary documents.

 

Secondary Duties:

 

Assist closing department when time permits.

 

Reconcile appraisal,  including billing and General Ledger.

 

Prepare various reports such as Pipeline Report, Sellable Construction Loan Report, Closed Loan Report, etc.
