This position will support the mortgage approval process by evaluating and verifying the information submitted with mortgage loan applications including, but not limited to verifying bank account balances, earnings and employment information. This position will assemble a completely documented file for underwriting where a final decision is made. This position will be responsible for ensuring that mortgage files are in100% compliance with all state and federal regulations. The processor will work in concert with Mortgage Loan Officers and Mortgage Closing Department to ensure that files are processed and closed in a timely manner that is deemed acceptable by Senior Management. Requires excellent organizational skills, a fine attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills. This position will have contact with borrowers and various vendors therefore good customer relations is a must. This candidate must also have excellent computer skills.
