Mortgage Production Leader - Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain team staffing including interviewing, hiring, terminations, prepare conduct annual performance reviews. Provide Career Counseling guidance, address disciplinary actions. Review and resolve credit quality issues on files through entire credit process and assist Servicenter personnel and Credit Consultants with underwriting support as needed. Coordinate and facilitate team building exercises between Servicenter and Sales teams. Partner with Area Sales Manager for ongoing consistent communication channel and encourage ongoing sales and service team development and bonding. Maintain working knowledge of all internal mortgage related systems. Interact with the help desk on all service team technical issues. REQUIREMENTS: Six or more years experience in mortgage operations area underwriting, processing, closing, etc. to include three to five years of supervisory and or management experience in a team environment. Mortgage experience must be in residential first mortgages, A paper. Understands and effectively applies company policies and procedures in a positive manner. Excellent PC skills and thorough knowledge of automated underwriting systems. Strong Government knowledge highly preferred. Good knowledge of company's financial practices and standards. Excellent working knowledge of operational area. Excellent leadership, written, verbal and presentation communicative skills.
