NAR Field Recruiting Relationship Mgr
Description:The Field Recruiting Relationship Manager (FRRM) supports the development, implementation and ongoing optimization of the Novice Advisor recruiting (NAR) portion of the AO recruiting plan, as well as assists with basic training and coaching of the Field Recruiting Specialist (FRS) to achieve novice recruiting targets. Measurement will be focused on driving field recruiting activities and ultimately sponsorship, hire and appointment focused on higher quality advisor prospect segments (targeted college and targeted career changers).- Drive field engagement and recruiting results through structured planning and implementation process at the AO level, partnering with your region's FRS and FVP: Continuously monitor, optimize AO plans and apply segment programs; Adjust strategies to local trends, demographics; Drive annual AO recruiting planning process; DOC (demonstrate, observe, confirm) FRS recruiting tactics- Drive FRS skill development to build recruiting productivity in targeted segments: Support ongoing training and coaching of FRSs in region; Assess and provide guidance to FRSs on launch and management of AO plan; Share appropriate best practice; Function as a recruiting-related subject matter expert (SME) for FRSs- Build FRS relationships: Ensure FRSs and field leaders understand our novice recruiting value proposition; Partner with FRSs to assist in the recruiting process; Provide FRSs with activity reports and report interpretation; Identify recruiting best practices and success stories for communication across the region/companyQualifications:Required: -5 years of relationship management experience, preferably in recruiting or sales and/or the financial services industry; Working knowledge of best practice recruiting techniques; Demonstrated ability to deliver effective training and coaching- Proven ability to create and implement change, drive results and hold others accountable; Creative, conceptual skills in organizing information and communicating key messages that result in uptake; Utilizes a consultative approach- Experience identifying and resolving issues independently, will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances, with solid sense of accountability and sound judgment- Genuine customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations in serving multiple customers (candidates, hiring managers, recruiters); Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to influence decision makers as well as set, manage expectationsPreferred: -Experience with field implementation of Ameriprise programs; Experience partnering with field leaders and advisors; Experience in building sales or recruiting pipeline through referrals, COIs and natural markets; Experience in implementing local recruiting or marketing campaigns;- Experience influencing people to accomplish business goals without direct authority; Work experience in multiple settings (field and corporate office, or field and non-Ameriprise positions); 2 years of leadership experienceSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe offer competitive benefits to eligible employees (including medical, dental, and vision plans).
