NATIONAL SALES CONSULTANT- MAJOR CARD PROCESSOR-EXCEPTIONAL COMPENSATION/CAREER

Major Payment Processing Company, leader in the industry, is seeking an experienced National Sales Consultant to promote external business development.  This professional will be experienced in calling on financial institutions at the senior management level and bringing on new clients.  A "hunter" type sales methodology for cold calling efforts along with strong relationship building skills are a must.

This position is "remote" and can be based out of any major city within the continental US.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Develop external business nationally through referrals, cold-calling, networking and relationship building, promoting products, services and features in assigned areas Call on senior management of financial institutions, cultivating relationships and executing a commitment Participate in regional sales activities to include nationally coordinated sales campaigns Develop and deliver presentations for financial institutions and participate in their educational projects and designated conferences/meetings Work with the varioius departments internally, utilizing expertise to solidify sales efforts and ultimate commitment Provide product knowledge on all programs/services to prospects to ensure their complete understanding and prepare appropriate contracts/documentation Maintain a high level of quality sales process and positive corporate image with prospects

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:Minimum of 5 years sales/marketing experience in the card industry is required with a focus on external sales (new client prospecting) Minimum of 5 years calling on financial institutions, on a national basis, providing card processing services Experience in external business development to include cold calling Product training and product demonstration experence Excellent presentation and communications skills PC/Windows-based software experience - Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Working knowledge of Siebel and CRM software Bachelor's Degree
