.NET Web Developer - C#, ASP.NET 2.0

Morgan Peabody is currently searching for a very talented .NET Developer to join our Development team. You will participate in architecture, design, and code development for various projects to support our proprietary systems. You will be working closely with our Director, and will have the opportunity to accelerate in advance topics and learn from the best.

You will be expected to follow existing policies and guidelines, handle requests for posting content, participate in code review,  creating and/or modifying existing internal and external pages, providing internal support as needed to resolve web related issues, and frequently updating your knowledge consistent with the latest trends and advancements under the guidance of our Director.

Required skills: 2 – 3 years professional experience.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, and ability to carry out instructions.Ability to meet deadlines and learn.Experience with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.The ability to hand code web pages using HTML, XML, DHTML, JavaScript compliant with W3C standards.Cross-Browser compatibility methodology.Experience with OO methodology, and system design, development and enhancement.Thorough knowledge of Microsoft software development framework and related development environments such as .NET platform (not limited to ADO.NET), Visual Studio, and SQL Server.Working knowledge of third party Version Control Systems such as StarTeam or JEDI.

 

Desired skills:Flash. AJAX or Atlas.XSLT, VBScript, ActiveX,  Java  (or additional OOP language) and VB.SOAPVisual BasicCode performance and optimization.Solid background in mathematics.Experience with Office SharePoint and/or Microsoft’s CRM 3.0.Experience developing window applications.



 Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent (Associates or degree of higher stature are not required, but are a huge plus).
