Job description:

The following requirement is for our direct client from the finance industry in New York City.

Duration is 1+ year to Long term. Contract or Contract to hire.

We are looking for a strong business analyst to work closely with the project manager on this project. The ideal candidate will have fixed income background. Knowledge of Blackrock's Alladin product is a very big plus.


** This candidate requires experience working with all of the fixed income products from a front, middle and back office perspective.
** Must understand their entire lifecycle including accounting, purchase, settlement, analytics
** strong trading systems experience,
** strong experience with migration efforts,
** experience working with vendors and business stakeholders not directly under their control,
** experience defining and re-engineering business processes to maximize the abilities of available technology
** ability to clearly define interface requirements to other Bank applications and coordinate and manage those interface efforts with other in-house and outsourced professionals
** strong communications skills
** strong negotiation skills

The project has a tight timeline with significant implementation costs each month to the outside vendor and penalties if implementation is late. The candidates must be "professionally aggressive" to ensure that they and all stakeholders stay on track for the entire duration of the project and keep it on schedule.
